ABOUT US: ORGANISATION

ORGANISATION

GENERAL

The Royal Australian Air Force Association presently comprises a National Council and the following State and Territory Divisions:

  • Queensland
  • New South Wales
  • Australian Capital Territory.
  • Victorian
  • Tasmania
  • South Australian
  • Northern Territory; and
  • Western Australian

VICTORIAN DIVISION

The Victorian Division comprises:

  • Division
  • 14 Branches

The Division Office, situated at the Victoria Air Forces Centre, is the primary administrative and function centre for the Division. It is also accommodates the Board of Management; the governing body for the Division, elected at the Annual General Meeting.

The Branches, formed on the basis of locality, unit or role:

  • are each managed by an elected Committee;
  • receive financial and other support as requested of and approved by the Board of Management;
  • arrange and conduct their own Calendar of Events while participating, where considered appropriate, in functions and events being conducted by Division and/or other Branches.

Presently, members join a specific Branch, which receives a portion of the membership fee (capitation). Transfer between Branches can be facilitated as can transfer to another Division.
